H₂O WTV Café

A table where food, culture, knowledge and collaboration meet. In preparation, the WTV Café proposes a welcoming entrance for meeting people, sharing ideas and connecting regenerative initiatives.

A café with a wider purpose

The proposal combines sustainable food and drink with shared workspace, cultural encounters and learning about sustainability. Producers, students, entrepreneurs, neighbours and visitors may find different reasons to share a table.

Hospitality is the starting point. The design seeks to create a setting where an everyday conversation can open an opportunity to learn or collaborate.

Begin with the encounter

The proposed path begins with a café’s core activities: food, drink, workshops and time together. Learning from that foundation would guide expansion into a collaborative shop and other meeting spaces.

Preparation involves understanding needs, testing formats and following what works. The café does not yet offer bookings or enrolment through this website. Its next steps depend on developing its own operation.

Knowledge and exchange at the table

Alongside its menu, the vision includes conversations, workshops and practical knowledge about sustainability, production and markets. OLVEP and My Goodness! are possible connections for exchanging goods, services and capabilities.

Sociobioeconomy connects care for ecosystems with communities’ work and knowledge. The café can become a place to understand these relationships and bring attention to the people who produce.

The café and the World Trade Village

World Trade Village is a broader proposal for physical and digital encounters around trade and collaboration. The café is an initiative in its own right, related to that vision, which can develop its path gradually.
